About Sarah

I'm Sarah Longpre, a passionate entrepreneur, movement educator, and the proud owner of Saskatoon Pole & Dance Studio. My journey in dance began in 2001, and in 2012, I discovered pole, which quickly became a defining passion. Over the years, I've had the pleasure of teaching a wide range of styles, including Hip Hop, Lyrical, Contemporary, Tap, Jazz, Broadway, Burlesque, Pole Fitness, and Pole Choreography.

Since opening my studio in 2018, I've been dedicated to creating more than just a business—I've built a community rooted in empowerment, creativity, and movement. My goal has always been to provide a safe and inclusive space for adults 18 and older to discover or deepen their love for fitness and dance. This passion for community has also extended beyond the studio walls, as my team and I have helped raise over $30,000 for local charities through our community-driven efforts. This work was recognized in 2024 when I was honored as a YWCA Women of Distinction nominee for Leadership in Athletics and in 2025 Saskatoon Pole & Dance Studio has been nominated for the Spirit of Saskatoon SABEX Award.

My career has been shaped by incredible instructors, dancers, and coworkers who have inspired me to perform, compete, and continue my education. As the National Organizer for Pole Theatre Canada, I've had the honor of helping to organize this prestigious event. In 2018, I competed in the inaugural Pole Theatre Canada in Pole Classique, in 2019, I returned to compete in both Pole Art and a group routine with four of my amazing instructors, in 2022 I had the honor of performing in Pole Drama alongside a colleague and as a soloist in Pole Art. I've also competed with Pole Sport Organization at Canada West 2017, 2018, and at PSO Pacific 2019 in Los Angeles. A career highlight was winning 1st place in the Low Flow & Floorwork category at PSO Canada West in 2017.

I've had the privilege of learning from some of the industry's most respected names, including Tiffany Rose Mocker, Amber Wolf, Natasha Wang, Dan Rosen, Shay Williamson, Claudia Renee, Carly Child, Suwasit, and Kira Noire. My love for dance continues to grow, and I am excited to share that passion with my community.

As a mom of three and a business owner, I wear many hats, but my heart is always in helping others rise. I am now stepping into the world of public speaking to share my personal story of resilience. I speak candidly about balancing entrepreneurship and motherhood while navigating trauma, with the hope of connecting, inspiring, and growing alongside others who may be facing similar challenges.
